1984 Vanagon Westfalia. My wife and I bought her almost two years ago with the intention of fully rebuilding her for the long run. Unfortunately we must sell Goldie as funds are tight and we simply can't keep her. Because we bought the van with no intention of selling it we decided to fix some major things with the van. All major work to date (about 14k) has been done with Karmakanix in Berkeley, CA - a very reputable Vanagon shop. I highly recommend you keep this mechanic, if you are located in the bay area. The van is currently located with the mechanic in Berkley for selling, as I am in Los Angeles for work. Interior cabinets work well and are clean Stove works Sink works (water pump is new!) Fridge lights and runs cold every time. Tires good Springs good (no rear sag) New(ish) shocks Radiator replaced by previous owner Front Suspension bushings and ball joints replaced. New Catalytic Converter New Fuel Hoses (for more, see work order photos) Please see photos of work orders for all the work done. Below is a few of the most notable additions. New GoWesty 2.3 Motor with GW's 4 year Road Warrior Warranty - full coverage on parts & labor for manufacturers defects. - This is a sweet motor, very torquey and fast around town. - The motor was broken in perfectly as recommended by GoWesty, monitoring engine revolutions and speed- using only 20/40 oil with frequent and documented oil changes. - only 10k miles on it. gowesty.
